Go Discover Your Strengths

Our staff is reading this book together right now for Professional Development, and it is some of the best PD and personal growth reading I've done in a long time. The author is Marcus Buckingham, and the book is all about discovering your strengths and learning to work from those strengths (rather than focusing on improving your weaknesses). The premise of the book is that your greatest potential comes from working on developing your natural talents (which come from your personality, your hardwiring) and developing them into strengths. When you're working from your strengths, you'll feel energized by your work and more rewarded.

With the book, you get a code to do the Clifton StrengthsFinder test, which is eerily accurate, and helps you to better understand what your strengths are, and what that means for your relationships with others.

This one is a really easy read, it only took me a couple of hours to read the whole book...and you actually don't really need to read the whole book, and I "needed" to read it for work.
